Multilingualism.

I have two loves in my life. One is my family and friends and the second is languages. If I had it my own way I would learn Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Cantonese, Malay, Thai, German, and Russian. So next time any of you who visit my blog, leave me a comment and teach me something new in your language!

The other day I met a old gentleman, who was just smiling ear to ear. He was one of those ppl that seemed to always be having so much fun with life. When he spoke he had an italian accent, so I asked him about his origins. Turns out that he was born in italy went to school in france, then Spain, the Portugal so he speaks all those languages fluently. He had an amazing ability for languages. He could imitate an italian accent in french, a french accent in spanish... etc. After talking to him for a short while I soon found out that he also spoke fluent arabic and some sahara language. I was truly WOW-ed. It's amazing how something can master so many languages so well. He told me that he was nothing, his friend spoke 51 languages fluently!!! I had a nice time meeting him. I hope I get to bump into him again.
